I am in the market to purchase an RV so I have something to live in while I travel to fairs to vend my artwork. I am concluding that it will be easier and more economical to start small. Saw my dream configuration last night with
Sportsmobile Ford EB. Can't have anything as elaborate as that right off. But a converted van w/galley kitchen, bathroom, and bed is what I'm after.
If anyone is using a converted van, I sure woul…

We have a 07 Honda Pilot. Manufacturer says "no towing", not even on a dolly.Others tell me its being done safely, yet I've never seen one being tow'd or know of anyone who's done it. Anyone out there know someone who is catually doing it? Love to connect with them and find out what the truth is. I'd hate to have to purchase or trade mine in for the sake of towing (or not to)! Thanks

My dad and I are partners in crime. When my mother left us, it is the two of us who went on with our lives and travel a lot in his white and beautiful RV. His RV has been our home for 3 years now and traveling has been our main routine. More on the west coast because my dad believes that west cost has the best places. At first it is very difficult for me to adjust because grandma's house is more comfortable than my dad's RV. But as we go on, I enjoyed every stop and food in particular. As we tra…

After spending several years in a little house with no RV, we decided that what we really wanted to do was to get another RV and enjoy the rest of our lives traveling around, especially in the winter months, until we were unable to go any more!
This entire discussion began when we started landscaping our yard after living here almost five years. We drug rocks around for two months, dug flower beds until we were sore and exhausted and planted azaleas, Knock-OuT Double Roses and boxes and flats o…

This was forwarded to me yesterday, and I thought I would share this with all of my friends since most of you have a website of your own. This is the top magazine for people with a website, and they are giving away subscriptions to boost their readership. The free subscription is the one on the right side of the web page below:

Feel free to pass it along to your friends also.

Just signed up the other day to this site.. heard about it on twitter. We have a class c motorhome and love taking it out for trips. We have 5 children... ages 20 to 15 and as they are starting to move out we are looking forward to more trips without them. We are planning on building a large motorhome using a semi truck in the future. So far this looks like a good place to chat with other people who spend a lot of time in their rv's and it looks like there are a couple of people who have larger…

Yes I have ordered the directory, but these are only RV parks that the Author has been to. I am encouraging RV parks to list their lot sizes and what type of rigs they can handle here at the RVBug site. Please encourage these parks to participate in this discussion.

Tips On Shopping For A Used RV
Whether you are going camping, touring, or even vagabonding, a camp trailer will provide a traveller with all the amenities found in the comfort of today’s modern homes. What are the facts regarding workamping and Rving? Let’s see if I can shed some light on the subject. My wife and I have been workamping for seven years and in that time we’ve held my different position in many areas of the U.S.
It all started the in 2003 our first year of retirement. We were wintering in southern Texas, the Texans called us “Winter Texans”, that way there wasn’t any confusion with the “Snowbirds” that flock to Arizona and Flordia. We found an announcement about a Job Fair for…

You have spent several years in the corporate world and the enthusiasm for your career/job is gone. You may be downsized or let go at any time thru no fault of your own.
You want to get in your RV and just hit the road. At least for a year.
What is stopping you?
Am in the midst of a new book called BEAT THE CLOCK and BEAT THE DOC about RVers who have canned the corporate world and done just what was described.
Want YOU to be part of the book. Reply to rvjohnd@gmail.com

Well, let's see what kind of dust we can stir up in an exchange of ideas of what we want to do with the rest of our wonderful lives. For me I love to travel to national parks and experience the out of doors straight out. I am planning a major trip this autumn in my Airstream trailer to see the turning leaves in New England, do some major museums in New York, Washington DC, and on down the east coast to Florida then through the gulf states to visit friends along the way and in Texas and Arizona w…
