I spend the months of May through October in Michigan. It is such a beautiful state and my home, but winters I spend between Florida and California. The leaves are just beginning to turn but October 10th I always head north along the shoreline of Lake Michigan on a color tour, it is beautiful then. There are lots of National and State forrest campgrounds that are both beautiful and inexpensive along the way.
